The 19th International Congress of Nutrition and Dietetics was held in Toronto, Canada.
Registered Dietitian-Nutritionists (RDNs) came from 69 different countries and I was able to present my research on the "Differences in food preferences and nutritional intake among smokers".
Cigarettes sold in Canada must have warning sentences and pictures such as "Cigarettes cause lung cancer", and each cigarette stick also carries a warning.
A lot of people have asked me questions about the relationship between cigarette or heated tobacco products and food. I believe that future dietitians must learn how to handle addictive substances such as nicotine, alcohol and drugs.
I could spend wonderful days. I'm so grateful for the people who engaged with me.
